Paul W. Chamberlain

Admitted to bar, 1975, Minnesota and U.S. District Court, District of Minnesota; 1976, U.S. Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit; Education: William Mitchell College of Law (J.D., cum laude, 1975; L.L.M. in Taxation, magna cum laude, 1988); University of Minnesota (B.A., 1971).

As an entrepreneur operating a law firm, Paul understands the success of any business depends on providing exceptional value. Paul treats each client with the respect and care as each deserves. Regardless of whether a matter involves a multi-million dollar lawsuit or a single legal document, Paul gives personal attention to clients’ individual needs.

Paul has steadily counseled, advised, and advocated for clients throughout the course of over 35 years of practicing law. A long-time client gave Paul the title of “bulldog lawyer” based on Paul’s work ethic and loyalty in protecting his client’s interests. Paul continues to serve many of the same clients he began representing early in his career and welcomes the opportunity to assist new clients.

Paul obtained his J.D. and then earned an L.L.M. in Taxation, graduating magna cum laude in 1988 from the William Mitchell College of Law master’s program. Coupled with yearly continuing education courses, Paul assists a wide variety of clients with complex and ever-changing tax issues. Tax issues affect nearly every legal matter—from structuring a business transaction to creating an estate plan to resolving a lawsuit. An L.L.M. is held by only a very small percentage of lawyers.

Paul was admitted to the bar in Minnesota in 1975, U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, and the Eighth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.

Paul has been a member of Cosmopolitan chapter of Toastmasters for many years and has served as its president.  An avid golfer, Paul has also run multiple marathons and 10K races.  Paul is a life-long resident of the Twin Cities.

Named an Attorney of the Year, 2015, as selected by the Minnesota Lawyer.
